About this area:
Clark County is situated in southwest Washington. It is part of the geologic depression stretching from the Willamette Valley to Puget Sound. The county is bounded to the south and west by the Columbia River, separating it from Oregon State. To its north is the Lewis River, separating it from Cowlitz County. And to its east is the Cascade Range and Skamania County. Clark County has generally mild weather with fairly wet winters.
